The test shows me that I am a C type—the Conscientiousness type. I always try to do things as careful as I can though many times things did not go as I expected or went into a wrong direction because the lack of experience. I always plan my schedule ahead of time to get ready what may happen to prevent time constrain for unexpected events. I am fine in term of communication, however, I rarely seek for such opportunity to do so because I am a person rather restrain from talk wrong because my belief has instructed me that “the words out of your mouth like the water is pour out of the pot that you can never get it back and words hurt sometime.” Therefore, I tend to try to compliment with everyone’s idea to avoid personal conflicts; however, I will stand and fight for an idea that appeal to me strongly. I like to observe others reactions first before what I will do. On the other hand, I feel that I am still not cautious enough since I made so much mistakes just because of unpredicted aspects as the time because of time constrain or nervousness.
Generally, I think the test is helpful for me to further access my strength and weakness to advance myself and perfect personalities in the future.
C being my 2nd high I would agree on "I tend to try to compliment with everyone’s idea to avoid personal conflicts; however, I will stand and fight for an idea that appeal to me strongly. I like to observe others reactions first before what I will do." I always say yes yes, ok ok at my work to show a flexible manner. holding my breath(patience) always helps me get on the good side of people at my work.
ReplyDeleteI am type C too and, like you, I will avoid conflicts as possible as I can. As a discussion in group, I only do two things which are saying “yes” and nod my head when I listen to mates’ ideas, as long as the ideas are not extremely opposed to what I think that is right, because I don’t want to make conflicts with others. The other reason I tend to avoid conflicts is I don’t want to argue and I’m not good at arguments.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do not believe the test only provides a general picture, being a C personality has many benefits. I know because my father is a C personality, more passive and very detailed when he does everything. So as far as knowledge and quality of work goes he is outstanding 100 thousand percent. The downside is he usually takes way more time then the norm. So C personalities I believe is good for research and teaching jobs where time factor doesn't play such a crucial role.
